Mays Landing Man Pleads Guilty to Narcotics Possession with the Intent to Distribute
MAYS LANDING, NJ – On Thursday, November 16, 2023, Juan Rodriguez-Gomez, 40, of Mays Landing, NJ, pleaded guilty before the Honorable Dorothy Garrabrant, J.S.C., to third-degree possession of narcotics with the intent to distribute in exchange for a recommended sentence of three years New Jersey State Prison.
On November 20, 2020, a search warrant was executed at a residence in Mays Landing.? At that address, the resident, Juan Rodriguez-Gomez, was found with a variety of contraband. ?As the search warrant execution continued, law enforcement conducted a search of a nearby vehicle belonging to Rodriguez-Gomez. ?Law enforcement located a variety of narcotics, including: 29 grams of crack cocaine, five grams of crystal methamphetamine, numerous pills of Oxycodone, as well as a digital scale.
Rodriguez-Gomez was released pending sentencing over the State’s objection. ?Sentencing for the matter will be on February 8, 2024.?
