Mayco International LED Lighting Case Study
Mayco International, a prominent automotive supplier, recently partnered with The Safety Source LLC to upgrade the lighting at their Sterling Heights, Michigan facility. The project aimed to enhance energy efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve overall lighting quality within the manufacturing environment.
Project Overview
The initiative involved replacing outdated lighting systems with advanced LED technology. This transition was designed to provide better illumination, lower energy consumption, and decrease maintenance requirements.
The Safety Source LLC went with Litetronics LHB11550 Linear High Bay fixtures, twhich greatly reduced Mayco's energy consumption while providing brighter, more stable lighting. The Safety Source also added Litetronics SC008 Plug In Bluetooth PIR Sensor to each fixture. These sensors give the user wireless controls for motion activated occupancy sensing and daylight harvesting, reducing energy consumption even further.
