Beautiful May “Maya” Millete, only thirty-nine years old disappeared nine months ago. Her three young children were her life, and she would never have left them voluntarily. Her husband of almost 21 years has now been charged with her murder despite this being a “no body” case. He has pled not guilty. The arrest warrant details a husband desperate to keep his wife from divorcing him, first turning to spellcasters, and then to more deadly ways.

As this murder case now begins in the courtroom, search efforts remain strong. With the new information obtained from Larry’s Lexus GX460’s navigation the family is now searching places two and a half hours from the Millete home. This past weekend, I went on the search at Tamarisk Grove Campground in the Anza Borrego Desert. The vast landscape made the search a daunting task, but the family remains ?hopeful and will press on until Maya is found.
