A Postgraduate qualification from Cambridge

Learn more about the value of studying assessment at a postgraduate level from Bethan Cotterill who is an Production Designer for the International Baccalaureate.

The Postgraduate Advanced Certificate in Educational Studies: Educational Assessment is a 15 month, part time qualification.

The course is designed for professionals wishing to develop their understanding of educational assessment and its evaluation and learn in a supportive academic environment.

Run in partnership with Cambridge University Faculty of Education and Cambridge Assessment Network, students will learn to apply research methodologies to their professional context.

As a course participant, you'll develop ?

  • An in-depth understanding of key concepts and issues within the field of educational assessment
  • A critical and reflective approach to academic enquiry on issues of educational assessment
  • The ability to link collected data and theoretical perspectives in assessment in order to make new insights

  • The ability to evaluate the impact of research enquiry on their own professional context
