NZPork hosts our Annual Conference in Christchurch on July 24.

This year, we have an impressive range of speakers on the programme focused on pig farming innovations, challenges and opportunities.

NZPork’s animal welfare science advisor Dr Kirsty Chidgey will discuss her European study trip to view different pig farming practices and Roger Campbell will give an insight into international trends and developments in pig research.

Dr Jacqueline Rowarth, farmer elected director at DairyNZ and a recipient of the Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to Agricultural Science, will also speak at the conference. She has worked extremely hard to help society understand the importance of agriculture and dispel the myths that surround food production.
