During the past week, two of the Digital Voices team visited Comic Con in Lithuania with our amazing client Surfshark and YouTube sensation TomSka, and two of the team attended Cannes Film Festival with our client Magnum. We have lots of international trips planned this year, so shout if you want us to visit your city!

Instagram Testing Full-screen
Instagram is testing a full-screen vertical feature to give users a more immersive experience. This change could be Meta attempting to replicate the success of TikTok, which uses this layout to ensure there is an infinite scroll and increase engagement time. You will still be able to use the bottom navigation bar, which is transparent. Stories however, will remain at the top of the feed. This change will impact future content planning for creators and brands.?

Government Clampdown on Influencer Advertising?
An announcement from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) stated that, in light of the potential for harm that comes from influencer marketing on young people’s mental health, it wants the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) to enforce its rules.?The UK government is partway through the process of designing and implementing an Online Harms Bill, which intersects with social media marketing and influencers.?

We relaunched our podcast. After a long break, it is back and better than ever! We have a brand-new set of creators and a new name?- Creator: Behind the Influence.
We kick off the new series with inspirational guest and friend?Rowan Ellis. Rowan has over 200k YouTube subscribers and creates regular video essays about LGBTQ+ pop culture and representation. Campaign of the Month: Digital Voices X?tails.com
tails.com is a pet food subscription plan for your dogs. We've worked together to drive new sign-ups by sourcing dog-owning YouTube creators to educate their audience on the benefits of tails for their pets. The creators included a sponsored segment in a related YouTube video, showed the product unboxing, the personalised plan details and even their furry friends enjoying their food — inspiring viewers to subscribe to a plan of their own. The campaign has gained over 1 million impressions, with an average watch time of 13:09 and a healthy CTR.
Creator Spotlight: ASMR Planet
AMRSPlanet AKA Sophie Moates, is a hugely successful content creator, with 973k YouTube subscribers and nearly 100k followers on TikTok. Sophie posts regular AMSR videos, where she uses her voice and the movement of objects to create relaxing visual and audio content. Sophie has worked on both tech and gaming campaigns for Digital Voices and was brilliant! Check out her?YouTube channel.
