Our founder, Rebecca Grainger, attended this highly-anticipated three-day summit, which brought together senior HR, Reward, Wellness, Benefit, and business leaders from across the region.

The summit showcased the importance of taking a localised approach to employee wellbeing and listening to your workforce's needs. Burnout prevention and support remain top priorities for HR leaders, as recent statistics demonstrate that many employees have suffered from burnout and mental health issues in the last year.

The roundtable with Benjamin Haynes from Medicine Man Consulting provided compelling statistics that highlight the ongoing need to prioritise employee wellbeing:

** 60% of people in Australia, NZ, Singapore, Malaysia, UK, and USA have experienced burnout in the last 3 months, with burnout being the number one reason people are leaving their jobs

** Post pandemic, mental health issues are now estimated at 1 in 2 Australians. With Deloitte reporting that 70% of high-level executives are thinking of quitting to improve their wellbeing

** Employees who experience loneliness are twice as likely to leave in the next 12 months

** 60% of employees say their job is the biggest factor influencing their mental health

** And that managers have as big an impact on mental health as their spouse (69%)!
