Its been a busy month…
Despite the terrible weather,?May has not disappointed!?We’ve welcomed a new addition to the team – Catherine Grant , Marketing Specialist – who will be supporting our client partners on the delivery of projects as well as delivering Horizon Works’ marketing plan and events programme.
Earlier this month, as part of the Horizon Works “Good Vibes” initiative, the team went on our monthly walk to find the Giant Spoon Sculpture which is located just half an hour from our offices in Cramlington. It was refreshing to get out and about, to stretch our legs and enjoy one of the rare dry days this month. You can check out our team activities by visiting our Instagram page @Horizonworks.?
Last week we attended and exhibited at Make UK ’s Manufacturing Dinner and Expo at Hardwick Hall Hotel. It was great to meet old friends and new from the North's manufacturing community at the dinner and conference. The event put a spotlight on the impact of devolution, automation integration, unlocking innovation and AI. There were some fantastic speakers sharing their stories and we heard valuable guidance, insight and industry intelligence.
Yesterday we hosted the?Engineering and Manufacturing Marketers’ Meet-Up in partnership with the Engineering and Manufacturing Network . It was great to get marketing professionals from the?engineering and manufacturing?sector together?to hear and share industry insights on purpose-driven marketing. We were thrilled to welcome Chelsie Brown , Marketing Manager at COTTAM Brush Limited , who delivered a fascinating presentation on the company’s journey, its purpose driven marketing?approach?and how?this?has made a?difference to business culture and growth.
