#15YEARS in the making
We invite you to an inspiring journey through the history of AROS MARINE in our special anniversary documentary, showcasing our remarkable growth from a modest team of 5 to a thriving global team of 650 employees.?
Anniversary on the waves
Welcome aboard the AROS MARINE Gala Celebration! It was a night of glamour, music, and joy as we gathered to celebrate our #15YEARS anniversary while sailing the Baltic Sea.
Supporting local community
Though we work worldwide, AROS MARINE roots are in Klaip?da, Lithuania. Recently, we once again joined the meaningful city event, #RunForHope, which raises awareness and funds for cancer patients. We brought some marine traditions to our community and invited everyone to learn to tie essential maritime knots.
We greeted the event participants with the slogan #VictoryWeAreProudOf. As our CEO Giedrius Valainis shared, "We take pride in the ships we've outfitted, runners take pride in their completed distances, and cancer patients in overcoming their illness. During the event, we offered Klaip?da residents the chance to feel a double victory: learning a maritime knot and helping those fighting cancer." For each successfully tied knot, we donated an additional 15 euros, totaling 930 euros to the Run for Hope fund on behalf of Aros Marine after tying 62 knots together.
Fostering biodiversity
Last week, AROS MARINE welcomed two urban beehives to the rooftop of our warehouse in Klaip?da, thanks to the initiative of our Head of Continuous Improvement, Greta Galmin?. ??
This is a meaningful step in our Sustainability Strategy, promoting biodiversity and pollination amidst city life. Partnering with Urbanbee.lt, we've ensured that our Buckfast Bees, known for their calm and gentle nature, have the best living conditions in hives made from natural solid wood. These bees, well-suited for cold climates, will be cared for by a professional beekeeper who will visit monthly.
Walk the world with Aros
In our recent #WalkTheWorldWithAros challenge, the goal was to collectively track 50,000,000 steps. We're thrilled to announce that we've exceeded this target, totaling over 56,000,000 steps in just over two months!
Together, we've walked around the globe, with participants joining from 5 different AROS MARINE locations across Europe. We even united for a 15km hike in Sweden as a team!
