Let's skip the build-up...
History Is What We Do Now!
To announce the Danish women's national team jersey M2 Film produced this sizzling comic book-style piece, depicting their players as superheroes.
We've got a huge reaction everywhere we've posted it, and we'll be including it in our breakdown series in the weeks to come.
Great title as well.
The Rings of Power
Imagine creating a title sequence using cymatics. Science and maths seem like a great way to spoil a good song to me, let alone trying to get your head around how to conjure up mountains and trees from dirt... by singing to it.
We spoke to Plains Of Yonder , who, working with Nexus Studios , broke down how they achieved this hypnotic piece.
If You Tell Me To Wait One More Time...
I shared this amazing piece from Masayoshi Nakamura in a previous newsletter. Whenever I publish anything, I flick through the artist's/studio's web pages to see what else they've worked on.
Masa did not disappoint.

I watched Song Exploder on Netflix a couple of years back and (naturally) started on the episode with Lin-Manuel breaking down his song 'Wait For It' from Hamilton. I remember seeing the lyric video popping up at the end and being absolutely blown away by it.
I admit a bias here. I'm obsessed with Hamilton, and I'm a sucker for a lyric video, so I knew then I'd eventually find the person that created it.
You could say I was willing to wait for it. But that would be cringe.
Touch
Beautiful. Mesmerising. Even without the context.
I won't say the C word, but if you throw in the whole, we're not allowed to touch people we care about for a couple of years, it becomes all the more poignant.
"All that I am is a Cosmos of feeling!"
This month, I'm signing off with this piece from State.
A fantastic script, that takes you from the edges of existential pondering through the absolute chaos of the human experience and out (somewhere) on the other side.
