‘May is the Month of MOM”
CELEBRATE MOM FOR ALL 31 DAYS OF MAY, NOT JUST MAY 10TH
In cooperation with the Berlin Citizen and Premier Limousine, the Town of Berlin is launching a new Campaign called “May is the Month of Mom” and is asking community members to show their Berlin Pride by patronizing local retailers and service providers in Berlin. This effort is to show Moms that they are not just appreciated on Mother’s Day (May 10th), but for a WHOLE MONTH!
"May is the Month of Mom” will showcase retailers and service providers throughout Berlin, including some which have been closed during COVID-19. The goal is for residents and those who work in Berlin to buy goods, services and gift cards. This effort starts on May 1st and goes until May 31st. For more details, go to www.town.berlin.ct.us under Spotlight.
Community members that spend at least $15.00 per transaction (for a total of $30.00) at TWO DIFFERENT Berlin firms can then submit pictures or scans of their receipts to [email protected] to be eligible for a drawing for one of TEN $25.00 restaurant gift cards, 2 Works Packages from TASCA Ford and the Grand Prize.
The Grand Prize is a ”Girls Night Out” which will include a necklace for the winner from Dynasty Jewelers as well as 4 hours in a Premier Limousine Party Bus with up to 20 friends!
The Berlin Economic Development Commission, the Berlin Citizen and Premier Limousine thank those members of our community that are hard at work every day to keep essential stores and services in operation. Please respect individual business precautions and local policy guidelines on social distancing to reduce the spread and to keep our community safe.
“I am thrilled at the amazing outpouring of community PRIDE that Berlin and its amazing residents put forth during Eat Local – Win Local and The Local Lunchtime Challenges. We hope that everyone will find ways to celebrate Moms in May and support Berlin businesses while doing it”, added Director of Economic Development Chris Edge.
