Embrace the Human Side of Your Assets: Why Your Employees Are So Much More Than Numbers

The advances in technology and automation are so amazing that we can’t help but marvel at them. Despite these advances, there’s still one thing your company can’t replace – your employees! Yes, those delightful, quirky, and sometimes unpredictable humans who make the magic happen.

Employees aren’t just spreadsheet assets. If you choose to upskill, invest in professional growth, and share the profits, your company can propel itself into a stratosphere of success so high, even Elon Musk will be asking for directions!

Learning Tip: Sometimes learning can be mentally exhausting, so it's important to take regular breaks to rest and recharge. This can help you retain information better and prevent burnout.

Setting specific learning goals can help you stay motivated and focused. Whether it's mastering a new skill or completing a course, having a clear objective in mind can give you a sense of purpose and direction.

Celebrate Respectfully - AANHPI Heritage Month: Educate, Elevate, and Honor

Most people don't know what AANHPI stands for, which highlights the lack of attention paid to Asians. It stands for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander.

Let's move beyond performative gestures like ordering Chinese takeout or asking for dance performances. What are employees learning by watching kids dance in Asian costumes? Did we just ask a marginalized group to donate to our for-profit company?

Instead, let's focus on education, elevation, and honoring AANHPI culture. You can elevate the voices and experiences of AANHPI employees and clients. This includes introducing them, hearing their stories, and ensuring that they feel seen, heard, and valued.

Let's educate teams about AANHPI cultures and perspectives. This can be done through hosting presentations and discussions about their concerns, histories, and victories.

?You can engage your employees by displaying Asian inclusion installations, providing resources and support for AANHPIs, and actively working to address issues of discrimination and bias. By coming together to celebrate AANHPI Heritage Month respectfully, we can create a more inclusive and equitable workplace culture that values and uplifts all of its employees.
