May with Icon Exchange: National Nurses Month and more Women in Leadership
ICON Exchange
Icon Exchange is a service-centered healthcare staffing agency for all medical specialties.
During the month of May we celebrated several outstanding employees while sharing praise and resources for the nurses of the world. Here are some of the highlights:
Women in Leadership: Pamela Hoeman
Meet Pamela Hoeman , RN! Pam is Icon’s Office Manager, though everyone who knows her knows she’s so much more.
Pam found herself enamored with the sciences in high school, and decided to pursue the dream of helping the world through nursing. She attended Binghamton University and graduated with a BSN before beginning her career at University Hospital (where she met future husband and Icon founder, Christopher Hoeman ) in Syracuse, New York.
Pam continued her healthcare career at Westchester Medical Center Health Network , Beverly Hospital , Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital , where she specialized in bone marrow transplants and cardiac intensive care.??
Today Pam is a 2nd degree black belt mom to three children, all of whom she had the privilege of homeschooling. Now she’s finding joy in pouring her heart into the care of the Icon family.
