May the Fourth be with Gamerplex!

Over the month of April, we’ve been busy growing the Gamerplex community! Our Twitter has nearly hit 1500 followers, Kinland is at 2100 followers and Contention is now over 200 (fresh)! Our community managers Sam & Ions have been doing a great job in Discord running events for engagement and we are looking forward to playing Contention tank vs tank tournies soon. Jeh has also joined the team to help with marketing!

Exaverse Citizens

We have been working hard to ensure our Exaverse Citizen drop is memorable and a critical part of the Exaverse of games for the foreseeable future. Look forward to exciting traits and fun characters that will be playable in Kinland very soon and will have other game's support in the future.

Exaverse Elements

Exaverse Elements are the building blocks of the Exaverse! Within Kinland, Dark Elements are dropped by monsters and you can smash a rock with a pick-axe to collect Rock Elements. In Cyberwars, when you kill a robot you collect the Metal Element.

There will be a total of 8 elements to be discovered across all the games in the Exaverse which are both fundamental building blocks, citizen traits, and elemental attacks/defense skills. The elements include Dark, Light, Rock, Ice, Fire, Sky, Energy & Metal. These are standardized, cross-game NFTs that can work across any game platform, engine, or device.

Introducing the EXA-Forge

We won't be minting pre-made weapons or cars, you will be able to Forge your own! This forging mechanism will be a huge part of the in-game and multi-game economy of the Exaverse! We will be building this on-chain with more details to be announced closer to when it is released within Kinland. Of course, you can always melt down your items into raw elemental materials too.

EXA Token

In order to use the EXA-Forge it will be a requirement to use the EXA token. For most cross-game features of the Exaverse, the EXA token will be used. An updated whitepaper will be released shortly to go over tokenomics of the EXA utility and governance token.

Kinland Game Updates

Kinland has had a complete rebuild as it moves to become a mobile-friendly MMORPG. This means that online multiplayer quests to defeat the Elemental Lords and the evil Sebastian will be playable with your friends! Along with action quests, we are busy working on a weapon and elemental attack system, level building features, and ultimately the EXA-Forge.

Contention Game Updates

We released v0.71 to PC & MAC introducing Tanks & Vehicles to our existing level Wild Wells, and also release the new Wind Farm-level called Tornado Alley! Killstreaks and customizable weapons per loadout were also added, and more levels coming soon.

Cyberwars Game Updates

We are rebuilding Cyberwars to be 100% on Unreal Engine 5, so we are able to take advantage of all the super cool features that have been released with it, like Nanite & Lumens! This will significantly delay the next prototype release, but we think it is worth the wait. As soon as we have another playable demo ready, as always we will release it to the Gamerplex community and gather feedback.

Partnerships

We have partnered with?Blockchain Australia?and their advisory services to improve our tokenomics and NFT strategy with our blockchain games!

We have also partnered with?SolaDefy?and their innovative Play2Earn IDO allocation Launchpad! We are looking forward to closely working with them as we lead up to our EXA token launch.
