This reflects a marketing strategy that's aimed at overflowing the markets with large amounts of ad content. In other words, a strategy that relies heavily on quantity. Because of that, advertisers have seen both CPM and Cost per Conversion skyrocket, making it more costly to achieve the same results as before.

What should you do?

Focus on quality. Producing creative, high-quality ad content is now a necessity for digital marketers. This will set apart your brand in the sea of (more generic) ads and make sure your brand is memorable among your audience. When creating ads that attract attention, creativity is key and it will be your most valuable asset when competing in this new market; the future of digital marketing calls for creativity!
