May 2024: We Celebrated Nurses, Talked Connected Care and Came Together for a Good Cause
Here are the top three things from Baxter this month:
?
1.?????? On the Frontlines, Day In & Day Out
It’s not lost on us the awesome and critical role that nurses play in providing care. The compassion, patience and uplifting spirit they also impart truly makes a difference. Here at Baxter, we have a collection of nurses who deliver guidance on medical information, offer product training, conduct research and more. Thanks to all nurses -- you deserve a dose of appreciation every day.
2.?????? Baxter Drives Discussion on Connected Care at DeviceTalks
At DeviceTalks Boston, our own Donny Patel and Najia Khawar led a discussion with thought leaders from Verizon and Atrius Health to drive the conversation on connected care. The panel focused on how to effectively harness technology, including data and artificial intelligence, to help drive better clinician and patient experiences through connected medical devices. Click on the photo above to read more about Donny’s takeaways.
3.?????? Building Bikes and Stronger Teams in APAC
We partnered up to help others pedal forward! Our APAC Advanced Surgery organization combined a team-building event and philanthropic opportunity to construct 40 bikes for children in local communities. The Baxter teams were comprised of colleagues from different countries who spoke different languages, but all were united by the common mission of empowering children to explore and grow through the joy of cycling. Great job, team! #BaxterGivesBack
