Forestry Documentary Release


Our documentary Stewards of the Forest: Indigenous Leadership in Forestry will be released in two parts. Part 1 will feature workers from Squamish Nation and is set to release on Thursday, May 9th. Part 2 will feature workers from Meadow Lake and will be released on Friday, June 21. If you haven't already, be sure to sign up for official release notifications using the button below. The creation of the documentary was a great learning experience for us and we hope you enjoy the final product!

IRN At FNMPC


IRN was proud to support and take part in the 2024 First Nations Major Projects Coalition Conference in Toronto, ON. The days were action-packed and had lots of opportunities to network and engage in thought leadership.

Indigenous Guaranteed Loan Program


We are thrilled with the recent announcement from the federal government regarding the National Indigenous Guaranteed Loan Program.?This represents a significant step towards reconciliation and self-determination for Indigenous communities.? IRN's Ownership is Reconciliation campaign resulted in 5,000+ letters sent to the federal government, 20+ opinion pieces, and over 1 million impressions on social media platforms.?

Advertising in Ottawa


"Indigenous Success in Resource Development Includes Oil & Gas" We are proud to now have advertising in transit shelters in Ottawa, ON. If you walk by one, take a photo and tag us in it! We have future plans to do more out-of-home advertising in different locations.


IRN At IROC?


Chief Judy Desjarlais of Blueberry River First Nation and IRN board director gave a keynote address at the 8th Indigenous Resource Opportunities Conference in Nanaimo, BC. She spoke about the opportunities for resource development and how good development can happen when First Nations are proactively engaged.
