GeoPard Boosts Precision Farming for MHP, Ukraine’s Leading Agrihold
In a landmark move for agriculture in Ukraine, MHP , a major grain producer overseeing an impressive 350,000 hectares (almost 900,000 acres), has partnered with GeoPard. This collaboration signifies a major advancement in precision agriculture, incorporating GeoPard’s sophisticated geospatial analytics into MHP’s extensive farming operations.
Use Case from Agrotechnology: EC + Soil sampling for Nitrogen application. Winter Barley, Poland
Soil Nitrogen (N-NO3+ N-NH4) from top (0-30 cm) and sub-layer (0-60 cm) has been tested based on homogeneous, 3 hectares zones designed after EC scanning. Agrotechnology #NTrend standards have been secured: each sample has been immediately closed tightly frozen in a portable refrigerator and delivered to the lab within 24 hours. Samples have been taken 2 weeks before application.? EC data (0-60 cm layer, 15 meters spacing) has been used as a yield-limiting- factor to adjust doze. ?Additionally, a 30 kgN/ha stock buffer has been added for safety reasons. VRA (variable application) map (and all others for the whole 900 ha farm) has been created.?
