A brief history of coronations!?
A coronation is a ceremony in which a monarch is formally invested with the symbols of their office and anointed as the legitimate ruler of their country. Coronations have been held for centuries in many different cultures, and they continue to be an important part of the coronation rituals of several countries today.
The history of coronations can be traced back to ancient Egypt, where the pharaohs were crowned in a ceremony that involved the anointing of their head with oil and the placing of a crown on their head. The coronation of the Roman emperors was also a religious ceremony, and the ceremony was similar to that of the Egyptians.

In the Middle Ages, coronations became increasingly elaborate and lavish affairs. The coronation of King Louis XIV of France in 1654 was a particularly grand event, and it involved a procession through the streets of Paris, a mass at Notre Dame Cathedral, and a banquet at the Louvre Palace.
The meaning of a coronation has changed over time. In the past, coronations were seen as a way to legitimize the authority of the monarch and to show the people that they were under the protection of their ruler. Today, coronations are still seen as a way to mark the beginning of a new reign, but they are also seen as a celebration of the nation and its history.
The coronation of a new monarch is a time for national pride and unity. It is a time to celebrate the country's history and to look forward to the future.
