EMTELLE’S COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE HONOURED WITH PRESIDENT’S AWARD

Last week, Emtelle was honoured with the President’s Award at the Scottish Engineering Awards in Glasgow.

COO Paul MacLaurin received the prestigious award at a gala dinner at the Hilton Hotel on behalf of Emtelle. The award recognises our company’s continued commitment to the engineering and manufacturing sectors as well as the Scottish Borders, where we provide skilled employment to hundreds of people in its two facilities in Hawick and Jedburgh.

The award also marks what has been an excellent 2023 for Emtelle. We have continued to grow around the world, with a massive new factory being built in Abu Dhabi, as well as a major expansion into North and Central America with a new base in Fletcher, North Carolina.

Microducts & Tube Bundles

Our FibreFlow range of key products that include our tube bundles which are tight protected microducts suitable for installation of fibre units containing between 1 to 24 fibres, as well as 24-144 fibres in Minicables. Our high-quality bundles come in a range of sizes from 3mm- 16mm microduct outside diameters, and contain up to 26 individual microducts. As standard each of microducts within every tube bundle we manufacture, has a low friction liner on the inner sheath which improves blowing performance.

Thanks to the vast range of options available we are able to tailor these solutions to meet the unique needs of each of our customers. Our products are designed to be flexible and adaptable, ensuring that they can be used in a range of applications. All of this comes together to offer a future-proof, cost effective and sustainable network deployment.

Fibre Optic Splice Closures

We believe in in pushing the limits of what’s possible and our splice closures are no exception.

Fibre optic splice closures are the focal points of fibre networks due to the large number of cables and splices they accommodate. Expanding a fibre network can be a complex and costly process. It sometimes implies network interruption and, consequently, client disconnection.

Our fibre optic splice closure brings innovation and ease to the installation process. Our solution is straightforward, cost effective and is more environmentally friendly. In the future, splice closures will be the only access point in a drop network, so having a splice closure that’s easy to manage, intuitive and increases network sustainability, helps to future-proof your network.

Our QWK-Range of pre-connectorised solutions is another example of our commitment to innovation. These solutions are designed to be quick and easy to install thanks to their “plug & play” design, reducing the need for specialist installation teams and minimizing the time required for deployment.

Scott Koonts, National Accounts Manager (USA)

Scott K. has over 20 years experience in the telecom industry.?He began his career in 2003 with Walker & Associates as inside sales.?2 years later Scott moved on to an external position with a manufacturer, taking on a huge 13 state territory.?He has held the roles of Great Lakes Regional Sales Manager, Southeast Regional Sales Manager, CenturyLink National Account Manager, and member of the National Wireless Sales Team.?Scott brings a plethora of industry knowledge with hands on experience using OSP and ISP passive fibre products.?He has many friends and associates in telecom and is well known throughout the industry for his energy and the fact he never meeting a stranger.?Scott resides in South Carolina.??

Larry Hobson, Business Development Manager

We are delighted to introduce Larry Hobson as our new Business Development Manager within the UK Power team. With a wealth of experience and a proven track record in international sales, Larry brings a dynamic and strategic approach to the team.

In his previous role as the International Sales Manager at UW Solutions, he successfully led the expansion into new markets, supplying hard substrates for the sublimation imaging industry to over 90 countries worldwide. Prior to that, he served as the Commercial Manager for DS Smith Recycling, where he played a pivotal role in solving waste management challenges for national and multinational retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers.?With Larry’s experience and international sales expertise, we are confident in his ability to drive our sales efforts to new heights.

Linde Faber, Key Account Manager?(Netherlands)

Linde Faber has joined Emtelle as our new Key Account Manager (Netherlands). With over 12 years of experience in sales. She brings with her a deep understanding of the industry, a proven track record of success, and a strong ability to build and nurture client relationships. Linde's strategic approach to sales, combined with her outstanding communication and leaderships skills, will help play a pivotal role in continuing to drive our business forward
