Maximum viable product
If you're making a movie, you can't produce a half-assed version and say you'll come back with something better in a few months.
If you get a contract to bake for a party, you can't dish out a mediocre cake saying you'll get it right later.
Some things you need to get right the first time.
But if you're launching a website or a podcast, you don't have to go the whole nine yards from the start. That doesn't mean you do a crappy job. It means you identify what's important to get a project off the ground.
Identifying what you need to get something off the ground is a skill.
