The Top 9 Apps That Maximize My Workday ??

  1. Superhuman : I was recently invited to join Superhuman by a passionate user of the email platform, and I'm already hooked! Organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling emails? Reaching what they call "Inbox Zero" is a true game-changer. It's so nice to go to sleep knowing that I've done everything that I had on my schedule for the day!
  2. OpenAI 's ChatGPT 4: The hype is real if you are using it right. It's like having a 24/7 brilliant assistant. While it has room to grow and needs to constantly be fact-checked (like any collaborator), brainstorming and suggestions have never been so seamless. I've found myself breaking through writer's block on a daily basis.
  3. Canva : OK, I cringed a little including this one. As someone who has worked as a professional graphic designer over the years, I was skeptical about integrating Canva into our workflow. But, for quick social media post graphics & mock-ups, it’s indispensable - and a designer’s quick hack! I'm excited to see how Adobe Express compares - as it has a very similar interface. For now, we are enjoying the collaboration tools and simple editing features in Canva for our day-to-day graphic needs.
  4. Slack : Remote collaboration at its finest. Since the pandemic, we have supercharged our use of Slack, hosting channels with clients all around the world, benefiting from clutter-free messaging, and real-time organization. Working across time zones, we are able to get so much accomplished with quick notes and the ability to share in real time. While we also use Microsoft Teams frequently for clients who prefer it, Slack is hands-down my favorite platform for syncing teams and getting projects done
  5. Todoist : After exploring various project management platforms, Todoist has become a clear winner for simplified task and project management. The easy-to-use platform helps us delegate tasks with clarity, giving us a birds-eye view of our workload balance, while aiding in project time optimization. Plus, striving for daily Inbox Zero in Todoist just like Superhuman is absolute bliss!
  6. 苹果 's Keynote: For a brief moment in time, I was a corporate software trainer in addition to being a graphic designer. And so, you can imagine how much fun I had with Microsoft PowerPoint back in the day! Once I discovered Apple's Keynote, I haven't looked back! For those detailed presentations, nothing beats the clarity and versatility of Keynote. That said, I'm excited for the potential of Beautiful.ai . Any tool that helps you to visualize your ideas in a powerful way in the shortest amount of time possible is worth exploring!
  7. Envato Elements: I was reluctant to share this program most of all it has truly become one of my greatest secret weapons! For all things visual, vibrant images, photos, templates, or stock videos - Envato Elements is an endless fountain of inspiration! I often look to see if there are available graphics already on the platform that will help me to communicate my message before I try to create something new. Take, for example, the graphics in this article! :)
  8. Endel : This is one of my favorite apps in recent years. Using generative AI music, I am able to plug in to soundscapes that amplify my work focus during the day. Come nighttime, Endel crafts serene auditory journeys, paving the way for deeper, more restorative sleep. A dual tool for productivity by day and relaxation by night!
  9. LinkedIn : Obviously. Beyond connections, I've tapped into LinkedIn's myriad of resources to optimize my productivity. From insightful articles to webinars and community discussions, it's my personal wellspring for staying updated and looking ahead.
