..continued from part 2, this is the last part of the personality diagnostic from MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) which relate to workplace. Although there will be slight differences among them, you can still draw upon their similarities to practice.

a.??????Give yourself credit. Don’t downplay your skills and accomplishments. Appreciating and respecting yourself will make others appreciate and respect you more. Not to mention their taps on the back will give you wind at the back and empower you to do your job even better.

a.??????Batch similar tasks together. When you switch to a task completely different from the one you were doing before, your brain has to adjust to a different way of thinking and loses some focus in the process. To minimize that, batch similar tasks together and do them one after another.

  1. Communicate more effectively. Listen actively, try to verbalize your thoughts as clearly as possible, and be aware of the importance of nonverbal communication (body language, tone of voice, facial expressions, etc).

  1. Do the hardest task first. In the morning you have the most focus, so take advantage of that and do the hardest task you have within the first few hours of your workday.
  2. Batch similar tasks together to avoid losing focus. Every time you switch from one task to another, a different one, your brain needs some time to adjust to a different way of thinking. To avoid that, try batching similar tasks together.
