The Pfeiffer MVR Vertical Mill with MultiDrive?

Working Principle

The Pfeiffer MVR vertical mill operates with up to six stationary grinding rollers that roll on a rotating grinding table. The material is drawn between the rollers and the grinding table, where it is ground by pressure and shear. The necessary pressure forces are generated by a lever system, which includes a roller arm and a hydropneumatic tension system. Once rolled over by the rollers, the material is transported to a stationary nozzle ring due to the rotation of the grinding table.

Gases (air or hot gas) flow through this nozzle ring, lifting the ground and dried material and conveying it to the classifier. Here, the rotating wheel (rotor) separates the material into grits and fines.
