Maximize LinkedIn Follower's Growth Rate

LinkedIn followers' growth rate is more significant than the total number of followers on your company page because it shows how well your efforts are being reflected.

This article is devoted to providing you with helpful, simple steps to accomplishing your goal of rapidly increasing the number of followers of your company page because I am aware that it is a constant source of frustration for the Digital Team.

Here you can start improving your Followers' growth rate:

1- Invite your connections to follow your company page

LinkedIn allows you to invite your connections to follow your company page at a rate of 100 / 250 per month (depending on your account). You can filter by industry, location, or company, and is the quickest way to increase your following. Go to the bottom right-hand side of the company page to see the option.


2- Be techy with no training and use SEO

Add "alt text" to your images when prompted before you press post - Google scrapes content from the posts on your company page. on posts


3- Comment on posts on your company page

Commenting as a company on LinkedIn is a great way to gain regular visibility for your brand - visibility creates opportunity!! ??

The time needed: 5 minutes as follows:

- Find a post you want to comment on as your business / Company Page

- Click on the 3 dots in the top right of the post and choose ‘copy link to post.’?

- Paste the link into a new tab

- Go to your Company page and copy the page ID string of numbers.

- Go to Notepad and type:?actorCompanyId= At the end of the = add your company page ID numbers and copy the string.

- Go back to the blank URL tab that has the URL of the post and add /?actorCompanyId=123456 (your company page number) and press enter.

- Now you can comment as a company!


4- Publish content highlighting all the milestones & activities that are happening within your business


5- Share an industry article


6- Be engaging. Respond to the posted comments.

Obviously, not every comment merits a response, but it’s a good idea to reply to every question or thoughtful contribution to posts on your page. Not only does this help drive higher feed visibility for the posts, but members will be more likely to follow a page that actively engages its community.


7- Be responsive. Adjust your content based on page analytics.

Page admins can access a robust set of analytics that provide demographic information about your followers and visitors, as well as engagement data for your updates. Use these insights to figure out what’s resonating versus what’s not and align your content with what your visitors want.


8- Encourage employee involvement.

Your team members will be your strongest allies in growing a page following. Encourage them to spread the word with friends and colleagues who are interested in what you do. When employees tag your page in updates and share with their networks the benefits of following your page, it can provide a big boost.

Also, be sure your employees are properly mapped to your page (by citing it accurately in their work experience) because every time your employee makes a new connection on LinkedIn, the new connection will be prompted to follow your page.


9- Enlist help from customers and brand advocates.

Do you have customers who are adamant about your brand? or people in your circle who are driven to advocate for you? Let them know that increasing your LinkedIn following is a priority, and see if they might be willing to help out by posting about your organization to their networks.


10- Engage with relevant thought leaders in your page updates.

Are there influential people in your industry, and non-competing companies, that you respect and wish to be associated with? By including @mentioning them in your updates, you’ll have a better chance of getting in front of their network, since they’ll be able to reshare your post with their followers. Just make sure not to overdo it, as this tactic can quickly become spammy in abundance.
