NO MATTER WHAT THE FUTURE BRINGS

NO MATTER WHAT THE FUTURE BRINGS

There are moments in life that stop you in your tracks.

Whether it be to celebrate something amazing that has happened in your life and work or someone you care about it, the success of your clients or teams doing something extraordinary that they doubted was possible. These are moments of light and brilliance that encourage us to find ways to keep recreating moments of greatness that nourish and fill our gratitude cups.

But there are also the darker moments, just as powerful, tougher to process but that equally nourish our souls and fill us up with gratitude in a very different and possibly more profound way.

I want to celebrate the life and passing of an icon. A woman and leader so full of grace who exemplified unreasonable ambition in the flesh and who was huge source of inspiration and my drive for writing the book - Pat Reed.

Pat died quietly holding the hand of her beloved husband Walt in their mountain home just outside of Silicon Valley. She was a devoted partner and fiercely loyal and protective of all those she called friend - including me. Here are a few lessons that she taught me during the incredible time we had together about being a better human and leading others no matter what the future brings:

  • Be invisible - always lead others with the lightest touch, but go deep.
  • Create the future you want for yourself because if you don't someone else will do it for you and chances are you won't like it.
  • Trust and back yourself. You are capable of far more than you know. Let go of the control and surrender to what is happening around you, trusting that when the time is right, the answers will come. Life has prepared you well for who you have become. You will figure it out.
  • Don't waste your time worrying about chicken shit and people who think small. You think big, so BE BIG and inspire the world with what you believe in. We need revolutionaries to evolve humankind. So go do it!
  • People matter. Everything else takes a backseat.
  • Lead with your soul's purpose and spend your life staying true to it, life will take care of itself.

Choose purpose every time, it changes everything!

New Podcast Episode - Beyond The Crucible

??? Exciting News! ???

I'm thrilled to announce that I've been featured on the latest episode of the "Beyond the Crucible" podcast with the incredible Warwick Fairfax! ??

During our conversation, we dove into how leaders can evolve into the best version of themselves, sharing insights and stories that I'm sure you'll find both inspiring and thought-provoking. It was an honour to discuss leadership and life with Warwick and I can't wait for you all to listen.

The Future Of Everything

It's been 3 weeks since Dave Clare and I hosted our second "The Future Of Everything" event and the feedback is still rolling in.

WA leaders stepped into the challenge with passion, determination and radical candour at our "Future of Everything" Business Forum generously hosted by Engineers Australia. Guests weren't just geared up to have conversations on how to spearhead real and exciting change as we step into a high velocity and human-centric future, they were ready to take action. The vibe in the room was electric ??

Something magic happens when you put like-minded change-makers in the room together and this was it! A melding and sparking of unreasonably ambitious minds at scale ????

"It was such a privilege to be there on Friday, it has reinvigorated so much within me. Simply being in and amongst all those minds and being able to affirm my value in having a seat at the table was really needed." ??

"Congrats on an amazing event – I LOVED it and well done on everything you organised to make it such a success."??

IS YOUR TEAM "UNBREAKABLE"?

UNBREAKABLE: No Matter What The Future Brings ???

In these tumultuous times, many of us are at breaking point, struggling to keep up with the pace of change– and turning into the worst versions of ourselves – commanding, overwhelmed and stressed out. Building a mindset that is unbreakable is the key differentiator between top CEO’s, entrepreneurs and leaders who thrive during turbulent times and those who crack under pressure. It’s what ensures some leaders keep on winning while others get left behind in the dirt.

A few weeks ago I took my brand new keynote "Unbreakable" live to an audience of 600 leaders from around Australia. It was a closed session for an organisation facing possibly one of the most uncertain phases of their 100+ years existence - their people were anxious and concerned about what lay ahead. The post-session poll showed that attendees said they felt "Pumped", "Inspired" and "Motivated" after our time together. The conversations afterwards carried the same theme throughout - the timing of my keynote couldn't have been better for them, and it was the perfect reminder of how they could unleash what they have within them to tackle big change, head on. It was time. ??

Do you have an audience or team facing big change? Let's talk about making UNBREAKABLE the message at your next event.

Big thanks to Trail-blazer graduates Fiona De Stefanis and Kerrie Allen for their die hard support to get me ready to get out there!
