The Republicans are captives of their own marketing. They have become the method with NO PRODUCT to sell. They rely on the personality of their dictator.

The Democrats, on the other hand, have a product but it is untested because they don't have a true honest counterweight to debate the policy.

A democracy, a true democracy, is a social structure created by people and reaches its decision by polling ALL of the citizens in what is called an election. Those elected are then the representatives of the people to carryout the policy.

A dictatorship, left or right, is social structure created by a segment of society and designed to carry out the will of the dictator. Authority of the dictator becomes the source of authority of the representatives. The policy of the dictator is the personal policy that tested well by the dictator's marketers. The personal policy of the dictator is power, the power over others and power of personal survival
