The search for a new Managing Director and President is being conducted with careful consideration to ensure a seamless leadership transition. Nasser Obeid, who holds a kinesiology degree from McMaster University, has worked for more than 23 years in the global fitness industry in a variety of roles - from sales and marketing to operations and finance and for the past 10 years as a Managing Director. A visionary entrepreneur and inspirational leader, Obeid is known for his collaborative leadership style, analytical thinking, ethical problem solving and exemplary decision-making skills with a passion for excellence, and a unique ability to build partnerships. His decision to accept this new role in the Middle East was based on a strong desire to pursue a new challenge, and he leaves Matrix knowing that the management team and systems that are in place will guarantee continued growth of the company.
