Materialism vs Spirituality

Materialism is all about gathering and clinging onto possessions as we age, and this can become a neurological condition as we end up giving our time and ruining our mental and physical health.
Spirituality is about letting go of material possessions that are not needed, relationships that do not enable growth, and even letting go of ambitions that entangle the mind in prison. Spirituality is all about living with basic needs, acknowledging and enjoying existence.
Materialism gives growth to a capitalist civilisation, science, and technology; whereas spirituality gives inward growth and teaches one to coexist and co-enjoy existence.
Spirituality is practised with creativity, meditation, selfless service, and activities that enrich the mind and spirit.
I am not saying that the creativity from spirituality cannot give rise to scientific advancements, it will, but in a natural way that will not do more harm than good.
