Basic Purpose:
Interact with Business Units/Clients to ensure timely response and resolution of customer needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Interact with Business Units/Clients to ensure timely response and resolution of customer needs. Support POC.
2. Manage Service Portal, PO Status mailbox and other PO related mailboxes and communicate in a professional and timely manner to Business Units/Clients and Suppliers.
3. Answer and handle all phone calls in a courteous manner, escalating as appropriate.
4. Check on status and expedite POs with Suppliers, follow outlined STAT process.
5. Communicate and escalate price discrepancies on purchase order confirmations to the Buyer.
6. Notify End-Users of any discrepancies that will cause a delay in the receipt of goods or services.
7. Prepare daily reporting to support special PO requests, including Capex and service orders.
8. Work on special or ad hoc projects to support Buyers and POC Manager, as needed.
9. Manage and support the Return to Vendor process.
10. Work cross-functionally with Accounts Payable, Finance, and other groups, as required.

11. Manage, measure, and improve turnaround times in response to Client feedback and reporting.
12. Train new employees on Coordinator’ roles and responsibilities and maintain process documentation and compliance to departmental process and policies.

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree in business related field
Work Experience:
Knowledge of PeopleSoft Systems and Materials Management processes, in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other:
· Knowledge of laboratory products a plus.
· Experience in Customer Service position
· Computer Skills, including MS Word, MS Excel. Phone and customer service skills.
· Previous experience in the procurement field preferred.
· Required Competencies: Customer Service oriented, including phone skills
· Basic Level of Microsoft Office, including Excel & Outlook
· Basic Purchasing & Supply Chain knowledge
· Basic Process Management Skills
· Task oriented, enjoys working, works with energy
· Team oriented, has collaborative style
