In the second edition, we will continue to delve into the motivations, challenges, and aspirations of Dr Mahanti Chavali’s , a dedicated IMG who matched into Newyork Presbyterian Brooklyn methodist and let’s learn from his experiences and insights. ????

1.?? What motivates you to continuously improve and grow in your career or field of study .i want to save the world! No really. I think each and every childs life is have the privilege of taking care of, i hope to leave a positive impact. I want to help them grow and flourish! So even if it’s just? saving one kid at a time is what pushes me to get up and go to work every single day!

2?? What is a habit of yours that you think has led to this achievement being stubborn! Like ariana grande said “ i want it, i got it!” Keep dreaming and never stop putting in the work for what you believe in. You will get there!

3. ?? What values or principles guide your decision-making process?

very hard to answer that as an overthinker! But i think i make decisions based on what values i believe in. That path has to resonate with me to the core.

4.??Reflecting on your experiences, what advice would you offer to upcoming applicants in your field?

dont stop trying! Put in your all! Exams, cv, research all aside, the minute you sit in for an interview, the only thing that you have to show is your passion. Why your desired speciality? Make sure you can show programs how you stand out and what you can bring to your field of medicine!

11. ??if you could give one piece of advice to someone who hasn't been successful in securing opportunities in your field, what would it be?

it can like the rain will never stop but hang on, the sun will come out soon. Till then live gives you and mould it steer your way to your goal.

12.Looking ahead, what are your career aspirations, and how do you plan to achieve them? ??

I am super excited to be a neonatologist! And plans on that i guess are still brewing! Let’s see if residency changes my interests!
