MasterPeace using Doughnut Economy to engage youngsters
I joined the last 2 days the Change Now Summit in Paris. Met many inspiring and for sure like-minded people. This morning I visited the speech of Kate Raworth, the author and source of inspiration with her Doughnut Economy Methodology a great instrument to tackle both social inclusion as well as climate and environmental challenges. As MasterPeace we understand how to engage youngsters; especially the "non-engaged "as we experience in all 40+ countries where our network is active that the trust gap between society and governments is huge. An important role is on our shoulders to bridge these gaps with the support of many CSOs/ NGOs and education we can leverage our impact. Together with our clubs in Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Germany, and The Netherlands, we run an EU-funded project "ACT as a Doughnut" based on the principles to engage, connect and empower youngsters. City representatives welcome and endorse our approach.
I dream to make the next steps in co-creation with our friends of The Learning Planet and Ubiquity University to create inspiring innovative and practical Non-Formal Educational Material so that we speed up and scale up this awareness and actionable steps
