By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.

Hello fellow goal getters,
It’s preparation season.? The urgency of September has passed, and we are truly settling into fall.?
One thing I am sure of, is that none of us LIKES to fail.? We all do it sometimes and learn from it so that we can move forward, but we don’t want to fail. With that said, it means it is time to start thinking about planning and strategy.? Because, when we don’t plan there’s more room for error.?
This month, I’m thinking about strategic planning.? Is yours in place?? If so, this is a great time to revisit it and update it for the coming year.? If it isn’t, all is not lost.? This is a great opportunity to craft the plan and get on the path to making it a reality.
For more, check out my blog post? – I have outlined my thoughts on how to plan, and I’d love to know what you think.

?On the podcast?
This past month I spoke with two amazing guests, Marcia Dawood is working to change the game on Angel Investing – the subtitle of her recently released book Do Good While Doing Well reads:? Invest for Change, Reap Financial Rewards and Increase Your Happiness.? We had a great conversation about how to increase your impact in the world, and why we should all be Angel Investing.
Robin Todd grew a very big business, in a very traditional market space:? plumbing supply. Her story is inspiring, and so interesting as she grew her business by learning how to become a leader and let go of the doing.? Wonderful lessons here for all of us out there working to grow bigger businesses.
I hope you’ll give these a listen!
I’d love to hear your thoughts on these – as well as what you’d like to hear next.
