??I'm?often asked how I deal with resource updates when using the physical % complete type in Primavera P6. Unlike the Duration percent complete type, the physical % complete and remaining duration & resources Actual units & resources Remaining units are not linked. Therefore, it's important to enter the remaining duration accurately as it significantly affects how Primavera P6 calculates your project's finish date. Another option is to assign the expected finish date to the activity instead of setting the remaining duration.
But what about the resource's actual units and remaining units? Should you enter their values manually? No, if you want to calculate them the same way as the Duration percent complete type, you can follow these steps:
