1. What’s hot in tech: Adaptive Intelligence?
Adaptive intelligence refers to the ability of an individual or system to learn, adapt and thrive in response to changing circumstances and environments. It involves not only the acquisition of new information but also the application of this knowledge to effectively navigate and solve problems in dynamic situations. This concept is often associated with the ability to adapt to uncertainties, make informed decisions and respond flexibly to challenges.??
Recent studies about Artificial intelligence have shown that the highest form of intelligence is not an absolute, autarchic capability, but the ability to connect to and learn from a network [James Bridle, Way of Being 2022]. In other words, the ability to adapt to one’s environment through adaptive knowledge and communication is the highest form of intelligence in nature. Plants learn from other plants about a prowling animal, early humans learned from their fellow humanoids about a menacing change of climate, and self-driving cars would be useless without us humans ticking the traffic light picture box each time we prompt a Google search.? ?
In broader terms, individuals and organizations can also exhibit adaptive intelligence by fostering a culture of continuous learning, embracing change, and proactively adjusting strategies in response to new information or challenges.??
?As such, in the fast-paced technological environment, we value the importance of embracing the learning curve. Beyond our tech expertise, nurturing an adaptative mindset is the way we do business, and it is also a value we share with our clients.??
2. Values: Expertise - performing through ever-adaptability?
Performance is key in sectors like corporate finance and strategy consulting, and this is down to the fact that there is a lot at stake financially. So how do we make sure we stay on top of our game??
?Achieving peak performance requires a multifaceted approach encompassing data-driven decision-making, collaborative teamwork, client-centric focus, and a commitment to continuous learning. By embracing these principles, we are aiming to exceed client expectations in an ever-evolving business landscape.?
3. Follow-up: On Performance and Emotions?
Thinking about this post from Katharina Dalka regarding emotional intelligence money and power.
Regulating our emotions means acknowledging that we are responsive to them and indeed admitting that they are our driving force.?

?Despite its importance, organisations lack the tools to identify or develop emotional intelligence.?
Strategies to develop emotional intelligence include enrolling staff in EQ training, mindfulness, and stress management courses, organising team-building exercises, and promoting a culture of open communication.?
?Incorporating emotional intelligence into an employee's development plan is essential for a positive impact on their performance.??
