As we observe Constitution Week, we not only reflect on the ideals of justice, liberty, and equality that form the foundation of our nation but also recognize the pressing need to extend these rights equitably to all communities. The reality is that Black, Brown, and BIPOC populations have historically been excluded from the full promise of these principles.
