In this part, we’re going to elevate your design game even further.

However, I highly recommend you to read also my previous parts down below:

Let’s jump right in and explore more ways to make your Figma experience even more efficient and enjoyable!

Tip #1: Efficient constraint adjustments

Speed up your layout adjustments using the Constraints panel. To align elements to the left & right or top & bottom with one click, simply hold Shift while clicking the desired alignment. This shortcut allows for quick and precise control over element positioning within your frames, saving time and effort.

Tip #2: Quick locking and unlocking layers

Tip #3: Utilizing display P3 color profile

Enhance your designs with richer colors by enabling the Display P3 color profile in Figma. Navigate to Menu > Preferences > Color profile and select Display P3 from the options. This setting allows you to work with a broader color spectrum, ensuring your designs look vibrant and visually impactful on all supported displays.

Tip #4: Finding and zooming to any layer

Quickly locate and focus on any layer within your project, regardless of its complexity. Figma offers an intuitive search mechanism that not only finds, but also zooms into the selected layer. This feature is especially useful in large projects with multiple nested layers, helping you save time and maintain your focus.

Tip #5: Live preview from workspace

Preview your design interactions directly within your workspace without navigating away. Simply hold Shift + Space to initiate a live preview. This shortcut allows you to test animations and interactions in real-time, providing an immediate sense of how your design will behave in a dynamic environment.
