I was not familiar with QxA=E but I did recently read about the other formula and I came up with a different version of that one that includes incremental value. I believe an effective way to overcome resistance or hesitency is to experience real wins along the way. Don’t aim for change at go-live rather bring changes up into the implementation so that at go-live you have reduced the burden of change and gained fans along the way. I write the formula like this: ACS = DxVxIV>F meaning accelerated successful change (ASC) happens when you have dissatisfaction with the current state and a vision of what is possible and incremental value combining to overcome the fear of commitment to change (or inertia or procrastination…).
