Tactics and hacks are all over the place(Internet). But, if you get the fundamentals you will know how easy it is and what your realistic goals should be.?
I have found out 5 fundamental things of SEO that we use to train our interns and also can help you a lot.?

1. Keyword Research
Identifying and finding the right keywords is very very important. If you get this point right and find the right keywords you can rank for them in no time. But, you need to spend proper time on keyword research. Because sometimes it can be really hard to find the right keywords especially if you are working in a competitive niche.?
2. On-Page Optimization
Many people just skip this part thinking it’s all done as long as the website is working and opening normally. But, that’s not the reality. You need to optimize a lot of things on a website to make it SEO friendly. There are just too many things that we have to create a different service module just for making the website SEO friendly after we design them.?
3. Content Creation
Content is King. Content is King. Almost all marketers yell their lungs out throwing this one line on every platform available on the internet. But, they are not wrong though. What search engines want is to provide the best content to the users who are searching for it. If your site has the perfect content that satisfies the users search for it then what problems could a search engine have with your website? It’s as simple as this. If you go too deep there is an unexplored ocean waiting for you in the field of content.
4. Link Building
It is far better that 10 guilty men go free than one innocent man is wrongfully convicted. This is the same with link building. Stop wasting time in building 100 low quality backlinks. It's better to put all your efforts in building 1 high quality backlink. Remember that Quality is more important here than the quality.??
5. Analyze and Optimize
If you think that doing this 1 month and then waiting for good results is all you have to do then you are seeking a hard wake up slap on your face. (sorry for the violent words.) SEO is not a one time thing and since there is no sure fire way that will work for everyone. You always need to be updated about new things and keep track of your performance to find out what works best for you.?
SEO is not something you can just learn in a single day. So, take it slow and start with these fundamentals. If you stick to it then you are going to rock in future that’s for sure.?
