Mastering the Art of Work-Life Balance: Unveiling My Daily Routine

As a trailblazer in our industry, I believe that sharing my approach to harmonizing professional commitments and personal well-being can inspire a broader conversation about the pursuit of equilibrium in our fast-paced world.

So without further ado, this is a glimpse into my schedule!


6:00am: Mornings start with bonding with my son, Parker. Embracing morning snuggles, tending to his needs, and indulging in his adoration for backyard bubble play sets the tone for a vibrant day ahead.


7am: The arrival of our exceptional nanny, Sally, heralds the start of my professional day. The seamless transition from family time to work time is a testament to the significance of having a reliable support system in place.


7-8am: This early window is my sanctuary for personal growth and self-care. A structured routine encompassing dressing for the day, enjoying a nourishing breakfast, and immersing myself in the insights of Abraham Hicks or Orin & Daben meditations fuels both body and mind. Gentle stretches and mantra meditation, facilitated by the Insight Timer app, ground me in mindfulness. On most days, I do some journaling, visualization, or deep dives into strategic life planning – a personal favorite.


8am-11am: The morning culminates in my power hours – a period of heightened focus, energy, and productivity. During these sacred moments, I dive headfirst into strategic initiatives, deliberately sidelining email, social media, and other distractions. The results achieved during this concentrated three-hour window often surpass the accomplishments of an entire conventional workday.


11am: A midday interlude finds me taking a revitalizing walk with my husband and our dog, Maddie. This simple yet effective practice provides a mental reset and an opportunity for shared reflection.


12pm: The lunch hour is dedicated to family connection. As I prepare a nourishing meal for us, I relish in the company of my loved ones, ensuring a deliberate pause in the day's hustle.


2pm: A brief intermission arrives, affording me the chance to recharge. Whether through a brisk stretch or a centered meditation, this break replenishes my energy and sharpens my focus.


1pm-3pm: The afternoon hours are characterized by team communication, email correspondence, and workspace organization. By addressing key updates and refining my physical environment, I set the stage for continued productivity.


3pm-4pm: Physical well-being takes precedence during this period. Engaging in activities such as running, personal training, dance, or yoga fosters holistic vitality and enhances cognitive performance.


4pm-5pm: As the sun sets on the workday, my attention turns towards family and personal pursuits. Meal preparation and quality time with Parker dominate these hours, reminding me of the value of cherishing every moment.


Self-care rituals, ranging from acupuncture and massage to therapy and coaching, punctuate my week. Fondly bestowed with the moniker 'The Self Care Queen' by my family, these practices underscore the importance of prioritizing one's well-being.


6pm: The evening hours usher in the timeless tradition of family dinner – a moment of connection and shared nourishment.


7pm-8pm: Bedtime routines for Parker and our loyal furry friend Maddie create a sense of calm and routine.


8-9pm: A dedicated period for connection with my husband takes precedence. Through meaningful conversations and shared moments, we continuously nurture our bond.


9pm-9:30 or 10pm: The day winds down with a focus on self-care and relaxation. Guided meditations, soothing sheet masks, and leisurely reading form the backdrop to a peaceful transition into restful sleep.


This well-honed routine shapes my weekdays, providing structure and purpose. However, weekends offer a canvas for spontaneity. Fridays are dedicated to take-out indulgence and relaxation, Saturdays beckon with prospects for adventure, and Sundays provide an opportunity for organization and preparation.


As we exchange stories, we have the power to inspire and uplift one another. By sharing our unique strategies and reflections on work-life balance, we contribute to a collective narrative that champions mindful living and sustainable success.
