We live in an era where "yes" is celebrated, often interpreted as a sign of ambition, hard work, or generosity. But what happens when "yes" becomes our default? For one of my clients, an accomplished professional, the act of constantly saying yes left him stretched too thin, overworked, and feeling disconnected from what truly mattered to him.
