Mastering the Art of Go and Flow, and Tips to Networking!

Mastering the Art of Go and Flow, and Tips to Networking!

My most recent podcast episode was filmed live (with no edits!) in the middle of our road trip, from a motel in New Mexico, right after a retreat with Zen master Henry Shukman. The spontaneity of this setup was very much a reflection of the go and flow energy I often talk about at my leadership training workshops and at the Deep Human Club.

Go Energy & Flow Energy

We often find ourselves stuck in "go energy", especially in a culture like we have in Singapore. Go energy is action-oriented, structured, and focused on achievement. It’s the energy that drives us to take charge in meetings, set clear goals, and move toward results. However, when people use go energy all the time, it can lead to burnout and disconnect us from ourselves and others.

Flow energy is about listening, being receptive, and letting things arise without force. It’s the space where we allow ideas, conversations, and insights to come to us. This energy allows us to be present in the moment, to listen deeply to those around us, and to connect more authentically with ourselves. Yet, if people are always stuck in flow energy, they may end up wishy-washy, lacking in discipline, assertiveness and structure.

Both are essential for living with greater intention and presence. If these ideas resonate with you and you’d like to explore them further, no matter where you are on your journey, the Deep Human Club offers a dedicated space and community for this kind of deep, mindful work. The waitlist is now open for our new cohort!

Networking for Introverts

I’ve been getting tons of DMs from introverts feeling anxious about networking, especially with all the year-end events coming up. In fact, one of my most popular hacks is the one on networking zones — it went viral with 2.4 million views on TikTok!

If you want to turn social anxiety into meaningful connections, join me for a Deep Human Networking Masterclass at one of my favourite restaurants! We’ll dive into strategies for building authentic relationships, with one hour of theory and two hours of hands-on practice, over a delicious 3-course dinner. Get on the waitlist here to level up your personal and professional connections.

Much love

Crystal
