When using the Metaroom Scan App, the Tracking Assistant continuously monitors your iPhone or iPad’s position and movement. If tracking becomes unstable, it provides instant feedback, helping you correct your scanning method before errors occur. Whether you're a beginner or a professional, this feature enhances scan quality and prevents tracking loss.

What Can Cause Unstable Tracking?

Several environmental and movement factors can disrupt tracking during scanning. Here are the most common issues and how to avoid them:

?? Issue: The app struggles to detect surfaces in dimly lit spaces.

Solution: Ensure the area is well-lit by turning on lights or using natural daylight.

Activating or Deactivating Tracking Assistant
