WHAT HAVE I MISSED?
'We are fluent in neurotypical, but it is our second language'
As two neurodivergent individuals, initially, it felt vulnerable, yet profoundly empowering to unite with Leila Bartlam and share our experiences of being Autistic and Dyslexic in our last talk.
A massive thank you to Leila for sharing her story. If you missed it, check out the below and lets continue to open the conversation about neurodiversity in the workplace. And, to top it off, you will find some of the best tips I've heard in dealing with negative self-talk! It is well worth a listen!
What to know more about Leila?
Leila Bartlam is the Chief Production Officer and has had a long career across some of the big names in creative agencies and advertising, including Iris, TBWA, Havas, Adam&Eve, and BBH London, before joining Accenture Song. She has won numerous awards from D&AD, British Arrows, Creative Circle, and Campaign Bigs.
But it hasn't and doesn't always feel that easy. Diagnosed with Autism in July 2023, she is no stranger to managing her career and interacting with the world from behind a neurotypical mask.
