1 年Soo love to see others, talking about the extreme value in just being real! Leading with authenticity, being your genuine self, and allowing others to see vulnerabilities is a beautiful thing… Goes such a long way, toward making our professional relationships as genuine as our personal ones (assuming we are genuine/authentic and our personal relationships!). In various encounters in the business world, inside teams for example, I have often heard myself saying things like, “let’s start with the truth, how about that?” To me, that’s part of the being open/vulnerable conversation… Whatever the truth is, I’m convinced, it’s better to get it out there, even if it’s perceived as a negative, so we can actually deal with it… And then turn it into a positive. However, to ignore the truth about a thing, a situation, an attitude or a feeling gets us no closer to uncovering the actual, real, genuine issue.
