Master Materials & Energy Transition

Master Materials & Energy Transition

What a day!

As of today, I am officially working on the new master programme on the Materials & Energy Transition (MET), Avans University of Applied Sciences. It may sound like a cliché, but it is indeed an honour and a privilege to be part of the Core Team - especially as I am the only external (i.e. non-Avans) member.

The MET Master is scheduled to go 'live' in September 2024, as a two-year master, with a focus on engineering the transition itself. That's easier said than done, so we have our work cut out for us. But the team is marvellous, and I have no doubt we will get this job done!

If you'd like to offer suggestions, feel free to do so by responding, or (if we have a connection) sending a personal message. Be advised that I may not always be in a position to answer, either because there is no answer yet or because the answer is just not for me to give. Don't let it stop you.

For now, let me thank my employer TU Delft for the flexibility they offered to accommodate Avans' request to get me on board, for at least the coming six months. And perhaps as reassurance to my contacts in Delft: it's not full-time, so you will continue to see me there too.

Han, Ab, Michiel, Minou, Jobert and Gerben - thanks for inviting me!

Couldn't be more relevant today! I look forward to being in touch for Thermogen w.r.t. materials for sustainable heat storage among other things!

Geweldig!
