Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP)
One of the key documents which compliment the BIM execution plan.
PAS 1192-2 suggests that MIDP should be a part of the post-contract-award BIM Execution plan.
Master information delivery Plan (MIDP)
- It is used to manage the delivery of information during the project lifecycle (Brief to In Use).
- It is typically developed by the Project Delivery Manager with the task team/Designer/consultants (generally people working in the project who are often information producers)
- Ultimately used by the Project Delivery Manager to deliver project information during the project.
MIDP is a group of a number of Individual Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDP)
The main question which are answered
- When project information is to be prepared
- Who is responsible for producing the information
- What protocols and procedures to be followed for delivery
Deliverables listed in the MIDP include (but are not limited to):
- Models
- Drawings or renditions
- Specifications
