Daily Spiritual Practices

(1)?Breathing – Breathe to Center

Your greatest asset for peace, joy and mental clarity is to breathe deeply and slowly into your belly. We recommend that you begin this practice when you wake up from your rest. It is best to take in at least 10 breaths while you are also scanning your body and energizing your cells. This breathing practice is also useful when you are in the midst of an intense conversation or project. We have also found it very useful for bringing your energy into balance after a traumatic situation.

(2)?Meditation

Sitting still for at least 15 minutes a day with the intention of being present to yourself and your own needs, will provide you great strength and resilience for your daily living. You can find 10-minute guided mediation on YouTube when you are need of support to quiet your mind. Otherwise, just go into your breathe and view your mind as an observer.

(3)?Solitude

Many of us spend our entire life only catering to the needs of others. When you schedule time to be alone with yourself and the Creator, it’s an opportunity to check in with your mission and your spiritual well-being. We suggest that you take a 3-day spiritual retreat at least, every quarter. You must take a break from your life at least twice year. If you are a business owner, we recommend time away at least every 6 weeks to rebuild your spiritual stamina. This solitude needs to include no phones, no television or other entertainment factors. Start this with a 24 hour practice a few times and then increase accordingly.

(4)?Silence

Are you able to be in silence for at least 24 hours? This would require you to not talk or take responsibility for things for that entire length of time. You would need to let those around you know that you will not be speaking and to adjust accordingly. If necessary, you can write a note or use other forms of communication in that rare instance, when you need to communicate something.

(6)?Journal

The best part about journaling is that it frees your mind. Most people are not even thinking. It has been scientifically proven that the average person has more than 65000 thoughts a day. Yet 95% of those thoughts are repetitive or negative. When we journal, we actually slow the process of this “monkey mind” and have an opportunity to observe what is actually going on with our mental processes.

(7)?Fasting

Our daily habits have been formed for many years. Oftentimes, we have not examined our actions and tend to just move automatically in the practice of doing. To allow ourselves the opportunity to step back from our routine and critically examine what we are truly committed to, we can become more conscious of our choices. This is true as it relates to food, alcohol, sex, socializing, etc.

(8)?Emotional Freedom Technique

This practice was developed over 5000 years ago by Chinese Physicians to assist their patients in moving blocked energy from the meridians that line their entire body.

(9)?Recapitulation

Deepak Chopra took this ancient end of life practice and brought it to us to be present in our day-to-day living. At the end of each day, we take time to reflect on what we accomplished, what we left incomplete and any outstanding communication.

(10)?Walks in Nature

You ever notice that mother nature is lit up with the color of the Heart Chakra? When we spend time outside, we literally feel the love frequency flowing through our veins. Make sure you get outside on a regular basis to enjoy the bounty of the land

(11)?Soak in the Tub

Water has a way of pulling toxins from our body and sending them right down the drain. You can add Epsom salt to relieve sore muscles and help you to sleep. I also like to add a bit of lavender oil to enhance the relaxation.

(12)?Music

Using binaural or monaural beats as background music is a great way to enhance your mood and speak to the creative properties of your subconscious mind. You can also play musical affirmations. Playing subliminal audio sessions while you sleep can also assist you with weight release, healing, tooth aches, etc.

(13)?Dance

Our bodies love to move. My favorite use of dance is to imagine pulling the thing that I desire most in my life closer to me, as though I were a magnet. It’s a beautiful tool for manifestation.

(14)?Prayer

Talking to our Higher Self/Source/God/ is a way to communicate from your heart what is really going on with you. The most amazing thing about prayer is that the solutions to the challenges you are facing comes to you to grow and to change.

(15)?Candles

One of my favorite daily rituals is to light candles around the house while I work. It is a reminder for me to stay in the light. When you gaze into the flame, it has a way of soothing your energy at the core of your being. I also use candles around the bathtub when I am soaking. Placing candles on my altar and lighting them, is a form of recognition to my ancestors.

(16)?Incense

Sage your space on a regular basis to get rid of stuck energy that may have seeped into the corners of your home. You can also use different fragrances to bring about particular manifestations that you are desiring. Cinnamon is the money scent.

(17)?Raise Your Vibration

We can choose to bring positive and powerful energy to any situation we are dealing with in life. Making the choice to raise your vibration gives you access to higher levels of living. When you refuse to wallow in the dark side of living, you will be amazed at what gifts are seeking you.

(18)?Ancestral Altar Work

One of the ways to remember your family and friends that have transitioned is to build an altar and place their pictures there along with a few of their favorite things. You can also play items there to symbolize what you are working on within yourself.?

(19)?Rituals

This is a subject you need to spend time studying. Daily rituals can include many of the things we listed above. Creating rituals is a way of cementing into your mind those things you want to do consistently and with priority.?

(20)?Sacred Sex

Sex is all about creativity. When you combine two energies, that have the same focus for an end result, your trigger a level of magnetism that somewhat guaranties a righteous and immediate manifestation. This is a great way to enhance your relationship with your sacred partner.
