Master The Art of Staying Top Of Mind With These Expert Tips.

Here’s what I’ve found works best:

  1. Review your LinkedIn profile views daily. Monitor who has looked at your profile and strategically reach out to people who align with your target market.

“If someone walks into your store, not greeting them is rude. Greet people who visit your LinkedIn profile and stop being rude.” - Joe Apfelbaum.

2. Send out 10 strategic connection requests daily. You can use a dashboard to send requests to connect strategically.

Say Thank You To The People Who Accept Your Connection Requests:

Sending a thank you message signals to the algorithm that you are an active member. When people receive an email with this message, they will appreciate that you didn't just connect and pitch, which helps build trust.

Your LinkedIn profile is your storefront.

3. Drop 5 Comments A Day On LinkedIn: Save a list of people to a list you want to be at the top of your mind, post on LinkedIn, and drop at least five comments daily.

4. Send Happy Birthday Messages: People celebrate birthdays on LinkedIn each day, and it's a great networking best practice to reach out to people on, before, or after their birthday with a message.

Here is how to find someone's birthday on LinkedIn:

  • 1. Log in to your LinkedIn account.
  • 2. Use the search bar to find the person's profile.
  • 3. View their profile.
  • 4. Click on "Contact Info."
  • 5. Locate the "Birthday" entry in their contact information.

5. Send Anniversary and Role Change Messages:

When people celebrate anniversaries or job changes on LinkedIn, it's crucial to acknowledge them. Take a moment to like and comment on their post, and if they've added a new skill, endorse them. These simple gestures can make a significant impact.

On LinkedIn, you may find clients who need relocation assistance.

6. Post Consistent, Quality Content: Regularly sharing insightful content that aligns with your audience's interests and pain points is crucial. Whether it’s a thought-provoking article, a quick tip, or a case study, make sure it adds value.

7. Engage Authentically: Don’t just post and ghost. Engage with your connections by commenting on their posts, sharing their achievements, and starting meaningful conversations. This authentic engagement fosters stronger relationships and shows your connections that you value their content and achievements.

8. Personalized Outreach: Use data analysis to understand your audience better. Tailor your messages and interactions based on their interests and activities. I want you to know that personalized communication shows that you care and are paying attention.

9. Monitor LinkedIn Direct Messages For Replies

"It's easy for messages to get lost in the LinkedIn inbox. That's why it's essential to have someone identify messages that need to be replied to and flag them for you in a system that will allow you to strategically answer those messages and take the right actions each day on messages that matter the most to your business."

10. Monitor Competitors and Trends: Keep an eye on what your competitors are doing and identify gaps in the market. This helps you stay ahead and provides fresh content ideas to set you apart.

10. Leverage LinkedIn Features: Utilize LinkedIn’s features, like polls, articles, and video content, to diversify your engagement strategies. Experiment with different formats to see what resonates most with your audience.

So, how could you stay at the top of your mind with your LinkedIn connections? I'd love to hear about your unique strategies that have worked for you. Let’s share our experiences and learn from each other.
