MASTER THE ART OF SHOWING UP

I used to hate working out!?

Some mornings I still just wanna roll over and skip it. That feels like the most comfortable thing to do.?

In the beginning of my transformational journey I decided to take one small step toward my goals every day... because small habits done consistently over time lead to big change!?

I decided to consistently show up for myself. Showing up meant putting on my workout clothes and shoes even when I wasn’t 'feelin’ it', laying down my exercise mat, filling up a pitcher with water, doing just 2 mins of stretching...

Showing up meant setting myself up for inevitable success. If I had my workout shoes on and my water bottle filled...well, I might as well just do some cardio, right?! Since I already had my mat on the floor, I may as well do a few stretches or some Pilates.?

I use the same principle of SHOWING UP in other areas of my life. I get dressed, set the scene, show up and see what happens. Inevitably, the decision to just show up leads to me actually doing the thing...(whatever it is) because I’m here now...ready...just do it!

Master the Art of Showing Up. It’s about getting prepared and out of your comfort zone. The more you choose to just show up, the more likely you are to make a new habit stick and get the desired results.?

So, even if you’re not feelin’ it today, just show up...for yourself.
